How we estimate laptop graphics
Each laptop chip has its own index from published game benchmarks (mostly Notebookcheck's per-chip results), compared with desktop cards tested in the same games and settings, and set to a typical power limit (TGP) for that chip.
The same chip runs at very different power limits in different laptops. Thin laptops with a low limit can be noticeably slower than our estimate, and high-power laptops a little faster. Each chip's page shows its TGP range and, where it was measured, how much FPS changes across it.
Laptop processors are often slower than desktop ones, especially in thin laptops, which can lower FPS in processor-heavy games. All numbers are estimates, not measured benchmarks. See how we estimate FPS.
