How we estimate handhelds
Each handheld has its own graphics index at its typical power mode, fitted to 262 published results from Notebookcheck, Tom's Hardware, Digital Foundry, PC Gamer and ComputerBase. Results at another stated power limit or at 720p or 800p were moved to the typical mode and to 1080p with rules measured in the same reviews.
On 51 results the fit didn't use, the estimates were a median 12% off. Handhelds vary more than desktop PCs: the power mode, the screen resolution and the system (SteamOS or Windows) all change FPS, and some games behave very differently on these chips.
Steam Deck estimates mark the games that don't run on SteamOS (anti-cheat or launcher), from Valve's Steam Deck compatibility list and anti-cheat trackers, checked October 17, 2026. All numbers are estimates, not measured benchmarks. See how we estimate FPS.
