The short answer
By resolution across all 102 games: 1080p about the same, 1440p about the same, 4K about the same. At 1080p, fast cards are often held back by the processor, so the gap is smaller. In a typical game at 4K High, tested with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the RTX 4070 Ti Super gets about 64 FPS and the RX 7900 XT about 66 FPS.
The RX 7900 XT has more video memory (20 GB vs 16 GB), which helps at higher resolutions. Power: 285 W vs 315 W, so the RTX 4070 Ti Super does more per watt.
They stay within a few percent of each other at every resolution. Both suit 4K High (60 FPS in a typical game), so choose on price, power and video memory.
1080p: about the same · 1440p: about the same · 4K: about the same
At 1080p, fast cards are often held back by the processor, so the gap is smaller.
