Ryzen 9 8940HX (laptop CPU) for gaming
The Ryzen 9 8940HX is a high-power laptop processor (HX series). Our estimate puts it at 66.3 on our gaming index (Ryzen 7 9800X3D = 100), about as fast in games as a desktop Ryzen 5 7600. Laptop performance varies by model, power limit and cooling, so a thin laptop can be slower than this.
